Feasting in Potter Hollow

In 2023 we are collaborating with Chef Melissa Pelletier of Potter Hollow Kitchen to present a series of casual on-farm prix fixe meals featuring local ingredients, including products of our own garden. With many years of professional experience, and drawing inspiration from various traditions, Melissa naturally works in a rustic mode here in the countryside, where the food supply is conditioned by the seasons and good things don't need to be fancy.

Meals are designed to satisfy and delight those who enjoy a full diet: meat, fish, fowl, eggs, dairy, and grains, as well as fruits and vegetables. All are welcome to attend, but our ability to accommodate special diets is limited. Officially these are private parties, and guest contributions are donations to defray costs and support our efforts.

Future Feasts

FULL MOON FEAST on Tuesday, August 1.

Welcome drinks, grounds strolling, and meet the sheep starting at 5:00. Food starts at 6:00. Feasting will take place outdoors (weather permitting).

This one is especially for all you cooks, servers, barkeeps, shopkeeps, and other weekend workers out there who can’t ever attend a Saturday party. It’s also for all of you who just like a festive meal any day of the week.

We will be returning to the one-seating format for this one, and seats are limited, so please reserve in advance. $40 per adult; kids pay their age. We take cash, checks, credit cards, and Venmo. Please DM, email, or use the contact form on our website to reserve or ask questions.

PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS PICNIC

Please join us on Tuesday, the 4th of July for an Epicurean picnic here at Potter Hollow Garden. Bring your friends and family, embrace your earthliness, and celebrate certain unalienable rights with lawn games, a garden tour, and festive food by Chef Melissa. Starts at noon. There will be wiffleball!

Admission is $40 per adult (kids pay their age), and includes a special lunch of tortas mexicanas and more. Vegetarian options will be available. DM, email, or use the contact form to reserve tickets or ask questions.
